What's NotebookLM?

NotebookLM has quickly become a trusted tool for teachers, library media specialists, and administrators thanks to its flexibility and user-friendly design. Whether you’re crafting lessons, supporting student research, or organizing resources, NotebookLM helps simplify the process.

You can easily add your own materials—like links, PDFs, Google Drive files, and audio—or use the Discover button to explore topics across your resources.

NotebookLM is like your personal research assistant: it helps you synthesize ideas, reorganize information, and enhance your work. You can create tailored study guides, differentiate resources to meet diverse student needs, and even produce audio summaries in a podcast format to engage different learning styles.

Just like all of the tools in your Google suite, collaboration is easy too. Share your notebooks with colleagues to co-plan and develop resources. And because you choose the resources, you always know exactly where the information comes from—adding transparency and reliability to your work. NotebookLM is a part of the Google Workspace for Education and you can access it with your school Google account here: notebooklm.google.com.
